You have a story to tell: Five very important reasons you don't tell it!

Updated: Apr 25, 2020

Doesn't everyone? Have a story to tell I mean. What stops you from taking that step and becoming an author. Here are 5 really important reasons you don't take the plunge.

1. The most important one: You don't want to. That's right, you really don't want to. There is a saying that goes: When you really want something, you find a way and when you don't, you find an excuse. Don't make yourself feel bad about that, it's just not your time.

2. You don't have the time. There could be other more important things you can be doing with your life. See reason 1.

3. You don't feel you have the skills to be a writer. In the world that we live in today, there are so many different mediums that are available to help you express yourself. There are also many people who are willing to help you for free. That is an excuse. See reason 1.

4. No one would buy your book. There is actually a book on grass. Have you ever heard the term boring as watching grass grow? People buy books on growing grass! There will be a market for you, it might just be your friends and family but it also might be more.

5. You don't have the patience to finish a book. See reason 3.
